DJ TrayzeFrom the nightclub DJ booth, to the concert stage, to the battle, Trayze is no stranger to the turntables. His unique mixing style combined with battle-worthy scratching talent has commanded attention on an international level, bringing his party-rocking abilities to venues around the world. He has toured the Middle East, Asia, the Caribbean and the US, spinning for an international audience. With 14 years behind the decks, and a lifetime of musical study, Trayze has the ability to move any crowd and seamlessly blend a party across any genre of music.

Trayze’s musical journey began with self-teaching on the drums and piano throughout his youth- and then grew into something much more exciting. His early love affair with radio mix-shows in the mid-nineties drove him to purchase a pair of turntables and a mixer at age 13. Soon after, he was accompanying older friends and DJs to various record shops around the Washington, DC area, collecting vinyl and building a reputation at high school events and house parties as the go-to DJ. Though his first love is Hip-Hop music, trayze started his record collection by adopting his parent’s vinyl. These records were a great influence on his style- including various rock, pop, jazz, classical, and r&b. During his high school years and an internship at XM Satellite Radio, Trayze entered the burgeoning D.C. nightclub scene. Before he was even old enough to be allowed in, he was blowing up dance floors at the hottest night spots in the area, such as VIP, DC Live, Platinum, and Home Nightclub.

Upon his return to Washington, DC in 2005, he effortlessly blended his way back into the nightlife scene. Rocking nightclub dance floors is just one part of Trayze’s impressive resume. In addition to being guest-DJ for the concert venue giant Live Nation and guest DJ’ing for the Washington Nationals, he has provided unique sounds and musical blends for companies such as American Express, H&M, Nissan Motors, Nordstrom, InStyle Magazine and Adidas. When not touring around the world, you can find him spinning at DC hot spots like Eden, Public Bar, Ozio, Josephine, Modern and 95 Live! Keep up with Trayze online at www.djtrayze.com.
